Prof Suan Hui Pu from the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and the Smart Manufacturing and Systems Research group presented a paper at the 10th International Conference on Intelligent Informatics and BioMedical Sciences (ICIIBMS 2025). The conference was held at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) and was a valuable platform for research communication and networking with academics in Japan and the Asia Pacific region. Our work was titled "Disposable Inkjet-Printed Flexible Strain Sensors for Respiratory Rate Monitoring" and funded under a MOHE Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS). The constructive input from the audience will allow the team to steer the next phase of our research and development.
