Community-Based Aquaculture in Chuuk State: Challenges & Potential Solutions
The objective of the presentation is to provide a brief overview of aquaculture in Chuuk State and the Federated States of Micronesia, highlighting challenges towards expansion of aquaculture and offering some potential solutions and examples of small-scale, cost effective aquaculture methods that have see moderate successes in the FSM.

Cost of Production Analysis of Crops Grown on Guam
The overarching goal of this project is to 1) update production costs for 5 crops per year, collect production costs data, and develop budgets, and 2) collaborate with Hawaii to develop a survey instrument and methodology that collects data needed to prepare crop budgets.

Effect of Spatial Arrangement on Sweet Potato Growth and Yield in a Taro-Sweet Potato Relay Intercropping System in Micronesia
To assess the effects of spatial arrangement on growth and chlorophyll content of taro and sweetpotato; determine yield and yield components under relay intercropping; and identify the optimal spatial arrangement using productivity indices, including the Land Equivalent Ratio (LER), for improved crop performance under Federated States of Micronesia conditions.

Grounded in Health: Cultivating Strength, Stability, and Resilience Across Every Season of Farm Life
This presentation centers on falls prevention and healthy aging for farmers, recognizing that physical demands of agriculture work make staying strong and safe a daily priority. It will also cover practical strategies of building balance and body strength for falls prevention. Lastly, it encourages farmers to stay physically active, eat local traditional foods, manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure, and maintain the social connections that protect both mental and physical health.

From Ocean to Garden: Using Washed-Up Seagrass for Sweet Potato Production in Micronesian Islands
To demonstrate how washed-up seagrass can be safely processed and used as a low-cost soil amendment for sweetpotato production, and to provide practical guidance for farmers on improving soil fertility using locally available resources.
