U of T Nordic enables experienced and novice cross country skiers to learn and perfect their racing abilities and promotes cross country skiing as a sport for life.
U of T Nordic is committed to providing a training and racing environment in which all individuals are treated with respect and dignity. All members will behave in a manner consistent with the values of U of T: integrity, respect, equity and diversity, leadership and excellence.
U of T Nordic is open to University of Toronto students and community members who want to develop their nordic skiing abilities and train and compete as a team in nordic ski racing events. The membership must be more than 50% U of T students. There will be a small fee to be on the team, with additional costs for racing. Members will get access to coaching, a year-long training program, detailed workouts, and a weight program. Member athletes will commit to regular training and to helping with the operation and organization of the team.
