Carolyn L. Kuckein Student Research Fellowship

Fostering development of the next generation of medical researchers

This fellowship awards $6,000 to fund a medical student's participation in clinical investigation, basic laboratory research, epidemiology, social science/health services research, leadership, or professionalism.

One first-, second-, or third-year MD candidate from the University of Minnesota is chosen each year for consideration by AOA National.

The fellowship program honors Carolyn L. Kuckein, long-time administrator of AΩA and an honorary member of the society, who died in 2004.
