UNR Improv firmly believes that all people deserve respect and kindness.

Our values statement is the guiding principle behind every action we take and decision we make. 

At UNR Improv, we believe that improv is for everybody. Our performers do their best work and the audience has the most fun when we are inclusive. Our shows, practices, and events are and will always be welcoming to people of all racial and ethnic backgrounds, nationalities, sexual orientations, gender identities, religions, belief systems, and more.

We believe that comedy does not have to be offensive or unkind to be funny. This is not a matter of political correctness but a matter of human decency. When we are kind to one another, we all thrive.

Therefore, we do not tolerate bigotry in any form in our practices or shows. Those who choose to continuously exhibit it may be asked to leave.
