Aspiring Educators (AE) is a pre-professional student organization for those pursuing a career in education. Aspiring Educators is part of the Nebraska State Education Association (NSEA), which provides future educators with opportunities for advocacy, learning, networking, socializing, professional development, and involvement. Many colleges and universities across Nebraska have NSEA-Aspiring Educators chapters, with hundreds of members statewide. By joining Aspiring Educators, future educators can find support among their peers and professionals in education, learn more about the field of education, hear from panels of experienced educators, participate in fun activities, gain professional skills, attend conferences and assemblies, and receive membership perks, including professional liability insurance.

The Nebraska State Education Association (NSEA) is a professional union that represents teachers, faculty, and other education professionals across the state of Nebraska. NSEA provides its members with support, professional development, new opportunities, and advice that can help educators feel understood, supported, recognized, and advocated for. The mission of NSEA is to advocate for all professionals in education and to help them provide an excellent public education for every student.
