We are all familiar with the dystopian novel 1984 by George Orwell. It's interesting, the love affair based on hate between Winston (outer circle, like a peasant) and Princess Julia (inner circle, like a princess). But we are vastly disappointed by the excessive violence based on torture in the book. If we are precise, this might be the only book in the world where a human person is graphically depicted torturing another human person, and making fun how the victim’s body is not handling well the torture procedures. So, we decided to write a “fan fiction” based on 1984, but make it an utopian novel. We will still have the Ministry of Truth, Love, and Plenty, but in our case, they will do exactly what their names are saying. The first is the Devil, our temptation in “biblical speak”, the second is Satan (our beloved worthy opponent), and the third one is Beast (an undisputed overkill in everything we do, extremes that we should rarely go into, even if it's only about market abundance). What do you think, would our utopian version of 1984 sell better? Would it leave a mark in literary history? Or it's like asking if Jesus would be still famous, if He wasn't killed, but rather demonstrated enviable superhero skills, escaping all the soldiers and their weaponry. Maybe we won't be famous, but at least people would enjoy our utopian 1984 novel, understanding better the structural mysteries of life.

Consider the table above, containing all of the ministries in our utopian version of the Orwellian 1984. I would ask you to help me draft the story, based on the following outline. Winston works a boring job at the Ministry of Truth, the pet name for the High School he and his schoolmates attend. One day, he meets Princess Julia, the heiress to the British Throne, and they fall in love. “Me and you, babe, against the whole world!”. You need to love something or someone, in order to be able to fight for it, sometimes even to the death. And Winston encounters the chief of the Secret Service called O'Brien, who is not happy with the love affair of the young couple. They have a fight after fight, where Winston invariably wins. But one day, O’Brien uses a weapon, and he is able to mortally wound Winston. There is a very sad scene of Winston and Julia crying for their lost love, not unlike the scene with Julian and Victoria from “Metropolis, part 2” by Dream Theater. But in the afterlife, Princess Julia unites with Winston, aided by “artificial intelligence companion” technology, not unlike the tech shown in the film “Her”. They have long conversations, eat out in restaurants and drink good wine. This is how the film concludes, “lived happily ever after”. What do you think, sounds like a catchy utopia, but preserving all of the messages of the original 1984, right?!
