TEKMED Learning Modules

15/10/2025 -The first series of the 3 learning modules :  Tokat Ekonomik Kalkınma ve Meslek Edindirme Derneği (TEKMED), organized an informational training session on "Democracy and Active Citizenship" for young people for UnityStream Erasmus+ project. Participants gained awareness of the importance of democratic participation, freedom of expression, and civil society.

Young people gained awareness of European values ​​and active citizenship. 

20/12/2025, The Tokat Economic Development and Vocational Training Association (TEKMED) The first series of the 3 learning modules : organized an information training for young people on the rights, opportunities, and ways to participate in projects offered by European Union citizenship. Young people were informed about the value the European Union places on digitalization. 

TEKMED The first series of the 3 learning modules : has delivered capacity-building trainings for young participants within the UNITYSTREAM project, including hands-on sessions on Canva for digital design and visual storytelling. Building on this experience, TEKMED will expand its training offer with similar practical programmes such as basic graphic design and content creation, social media communication, video editing for short-form content, digital storytelling, project presentation skills, and safe and responsible online communication. These trainings aim to strengthen young people’s digital competences, creativity, teamwork, and employability, while supporting high-quality dissemination of project results. 

17/04/2026 UnityStream Erasmus+ Project- THE SECOND SERIES OF THE LEARNING MOUDULES :

Organized by Tokat Economic Development and Vocational Training Association (TEKMED)

As part of the UnityStream Erasmus+ Project, TEKMED carried out the second session of Learning Module 2, focusing on equal rights, inclusion, and anti-discrimination awareness.

During the session, participants explored the meaning of discrimination, its different forms, its impact on individuals and society, and the importance of inclusive actions and policies. Through interactive discussions and reflection, students strengthened their understanding of equality, mutual respect, and active participation in building fairer communities.

This session supported young people in developing a more conscious and responsible perspective on diversity, inclusion, and social cohesion.

17/04/2026 UnityStream Erasmus+ Project- THE SECOND SERIES OF THE LEARNING MOUDULES :

Organized by Tokat Economic Development and Vocational Training Association (TEKMED)

As part of the UnityStream Erasmus+ Project, TEKMED carried out the third session of Learning Module 2, focusing on prejudice, its causes, negative impacts, and ways to reduce it.

During the session, participants explored what prejudice is, how it develops through socialization, lack of knowledge, group identity, and competition, and how it can affect individuals and communities through exclusion, discrimination, stress, and reduced opportunities. Through discussion and reflection, students also examined practical strategies such as positive contact, education, and questioning personal biases in order to help build more inclusive communities.

This session encouraged young people to strengthen empathy, embrace diversity, and take an active role in promoting equality and mutual understanding.

Learning Activity on the Key Benefits of the European Union (EU)

Organized by Tokat Economic Development and Vocational Training Association (TEKMED)

As part of the UnityStream Erasmus+ Project, TEKMED carried out a learning activity focused on the key benefits of the European Union and the opportunities it offers to citizens and young people.

During the session, participants explored important topics such as economic prosperity, freedom of movement, citizen rights and protection, global influence, and sustainability. Students discussed how the European Union supports cooperation, educational exchange, mobility, democratic participation, equality, environmental action, and innovation across member countries.

This activity helped participants better understand the values of the European Union and encouraged them to reflect on the importance of inclusion, shared responsibility, and active citizenship in shaping a better future.
