Association for Intercultural Dialogue /Romania - The first series of the 3 learning modules :

LEARNING MODULE 1 – “INTRODUCTION TO EUROPEAN IDENTITY”

Our first learning module explored what it means to be European today — how history, geography, and shared values shape our common identity. Participants discussed the evolution of European integration and the role of key institutions in fostering unity and understanding across borders.

Together, we reflected on how digital media can strengthen this identity by promoting dialogue, inclusivity, and accurate representation, while remaining aware of ethical challenges such as misinformation and stereotypes.

This first session set the foundation for a journey that connects critical thinking, creativity, and responsible media use within a European context

10 October 2025 – Association for Intercultural Dialogue (ADI)- The first series of the 3 learning modules :

The 2nd Learning Module – “Social Media for Active Citizenship”

Silviu Gherman, journalist and participant in the Dublin training, guided the teenage volunteers of the Association for Intercultural Dialogue through this module on active citizenship and the responsible use of social media.

The session explored how digital platforms can promote civic engagement, raise awareness, and advocate for social issues. Participants practiced digital storytelling techniques focused on tolerance, diversity, and inclusion, using visual and personal narratives.

11.10.2025 - Association for Intercultural Dialogue -The first series of the 3 learning modules : 

The 3rd Learning Module – Blogging for European Values and Understanding

Today, the young participants of the UnityStream project explored blogging as a creative tool for expressing ideas and promoting dialogue on European identity, unity, and tolerance.

Under the guidance of Prof. Cristi Matei and Prof. Tania Nicolau, the session connected the main theme — European identity and the shared values that are also national ones — with practical exercises.

Throughout the day, participants drafted and discussed their own blog materials, experimenting with storytelling and multimedia elements.

They also created and recorded original messages expressing their vision of Europe.

These short performances will become part of the multimedia content developed for the UnityStream project, combining writing, music, and youth creativity. Work continues tomorrow with editing and visuals.

13.10.2025 - Association for Intercultural Dialogue presents :

YOUNG VOICES FOR A UNITED EUROPE

This short film was created by young participants of the UnityStream Erasmus+ project as a result of the first three Learning Modules. During these sessions, the young people from Association for Intercultural Dialogue learned how to use digital tools, social platforms, and storytelling techniques to express their ideas about European identity, unity, and tolerance. The film captures their voices, messages, and creativity — showing how learning can turn into real media that promotes shared values and understanding across Europe

12.03.2026 - PROJECT DISSEMINAITON

At “Vlaicu Vodă” National College, a dissemination activity of the Erasmus+ UnityStream project took place, organized by the Association for Intercultural Dialogue, following participation in the international training course held in Rome, from 5–7 March 2026.

During the meeting, teachers were introduced to the main topics addressed in the training: inclusion in education, combating discrimination, promoting equality, and the role of digital media in encouraging active participation among young people.

The activity provided an opportunity for discussion on how these principles can be integrated into educational practices and youth work

Understanding Inclusion and its Importance in Youth Work- ORGANIZED BY ASSOCIATION FOR INTERCUTLRUAL DIALOGUE  at

During the first session of Learning Module 1, students explored the concept of inclusion and discussed why inclusive environments are essential for building a diverse and respectful society. The activities encouraged reflection on the role of youth work in promoting participation, equality, and social cohesion.

Exploring Diversity and Challenging Biases - ORGANIZED BY ASSOCIATION FOR INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUE at

In the second session of Learning Module 1, students explored diversity and discussed stereotypes, biases, and different forms of discrimination. Through discussions and interactive activities, participants reflected on how perceptions are shaped and how empathy and understanding can contribute to more inclusive communities.

After the activities carried out during Learning Module 1, many students and ADI volunteers expressed their interest in continuing the discussions within the UnityStream project. As a result, an additional workshop was organized on Saturday, with an even larger group of participants – around 100 students.

During the first session, participants explored different forms of discrimination, including racial, ethnic, religious, and gender-based discrimination, and discussed the impact discrimination can have on individuals and society

Supporting Equal Rights and Inclusive Initiatives

The activities continued with the second session of Learning Module 2, focusing on equal rights and inclusive initiatives.

Participants discussed the importance of policies and actions that help prevent discrimination and promote inclusive environments. Through discussion and reflection, students explored how communities and institutions can support equality, respect, and active participation for all.

THE SECOND SERIES OF THE LEARNING MOUDULES : On May 9, 2026, the Association for Intercultural Dialogue celebrated Europe Day through an active educational activity organized within the framework of the UnityStream project, which promotes European identity, democratic values, and civic participation among young people.

The activity marked the implementation of the Second Series of Three Learning Modules, more specifically the 3rd Learning Module: “Creating Impactful Digital Media for Social Change”.

Session 1, “Introduction to Impactful Digital Media Content”, was coordinated by Ioana Isfan, media expert and participant in the UnityStream international training course held in Rome, Italy. During the first part of the activity, participants discussed the growing influence of digital media in shaping public opinion and raising awareness on important social issues. Special attention was given to storytelling techniques and to the ways in which digital content can inspire civic engagement, empathy, and social responsibility.

After a short break, the activities continued with Session 2: “Hands-on Activities for Video Production”. During this practical session, Ioana Isfan guided participants through the basic stages of video creation, explaining filming techniques, editing processes, and elements of post-production. Participants were encouraged to explore how digital media tools can be used to create meaningful content with social impact.

The activity took place at the National College “Vlaicu Vodă”, associated partner in the project, and brought together volunteers of the Association for Intercultural Dialogue together with students of the high school.

Through interactive discussions and practical exercises, participants developed digital communication skills while reflecting on the importance of responsible media creation and active European citizenship.
