It is typical that a prospective candidate will attend three meals before gaining a petition. Meals are at 6:30 before the stated meetings on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month.

The Square and Compasses are the most recognized symbols of Freemasonry. They remind Masons to live with honesty, integrity, and self-control, and to conduct themselves as upright men.
The Worshipful Master is the elected leader of a Masonic Lodge. He presides over meetings, provides leadership to the lodge, and works with the other officers to guide its work and serve its members.
"Worshipful" is an old term meaning worthy of respect or honro. It does not mean that the master is worshipped. The titles is a traditional term of respect for the elected leader of the Lodge.
