The United By Comedy Foundation is a veteran-founded, veteran-led nonprofit dedicated to transforming lives through laughter. Founded in West Virginia, we serve veterans, individuals in recovery, and the wider community by combining comedy, peer support, and evidence-based recovery strategies.
The United By Comedy Foundation is just getting started! Our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status is pending, and we’re seeking support to build our programs, reach our communities, and bring the healing power of laughter to veterans, individuals in recovery, and the wider public. Join us on this journey, and together we can create spaces where laughter heals and connection happens.
What is the foundation of The United By Comedy Foundation?
• Connection: Building meaningful bonds through shared experiences.

• Purpose: Empowering people to contribute, lead, and grow.
• Service: Giving back to our community with heart and dedication.
• Recovery: Supporting individuals in overcoming challenges with compassion and laughter.
Conner Williams, Founder of The United By Comedy Foundation, is a West Virginia native, Navy veteran, husband, and father of two, who knows firsthand the challenges faced by veterans and those in recovery. Having joined the Navy at 19, Conner’s life has been shaped by service, community, and resilience.
For the past three years, Conner has been performing stand-up comedy, discovering the profound power of laughter and community in transforming lives.
Witnessing the struggles of fellow veterans and community members in recovery inspired him to combine his passions for service, comedy, and mental health into one mission: The United By Comedy Foundation.
Through the foundation, Conner brings people together — one laugh at a time — creating spaces where humor, healing, and hope intersect.
