The 2nd International Conference on Sustainable Development for Community Empowerment (unitE) 2024 is organised by the Community Network Centre (CNC), Office of Industry, Community and Alumni Network (ICAN). With the theme “Strengthening Collaboration for Community Socioeconomic Empowerment”, unitE2024 aims to highlight the issue surrounding empowering the community in socioeconomic aspect.

Socioeconomic empowerment, through access to resources, education, and economic opportunities, plays a crucial role in uplifting individuals and marginalised groups within communities. This can be facilitated through collaboration involving higher education institutions (HLIs), industry professionals, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), and engaged students actively involved in community development initiatives.

Therefore, through engaging keynote presentations, thought-provoking panel discussions, and paper presentations, unitE2024 provides a comprehensive exploration of the latest initiatives and success stories in community socioeconomic empowerment. Together, we can create lasting impacts on the community we serve.
