We may (probably will) adjust this time once we get started and see what works best. Last year we extended rehearsal until 5:15 in order to alleviate congestion during club dismissal and give us more time to rehearse. I'll be in touch regarding any changes.
The information you provide is essential to making chorus run smoothly! I ask for information like student t-shirt size, dietary restrictions, contact info and more! This year I’m also asking for input that will help me choose the music that we will sing!
Unlike other clubs, because we are working toward specific team goals (performances!), it's important that students and parents commit to making sure students come to rehearsals. Students who miss an excessive number of rehearsals may not be allowed to perform at upcoming performances.
There will be times as we get closer to performances that I'll ask students to practice at home. I will post recordings of music as well as lyric sheets to assist them in their practice.
The past few years I've hosted a design contest for the chorus shirts! If your child would like to submit a design, you can download and print the PDF. All contest submissions are due by beginning of chorus rehearsal next week (Sept 9th at 3:55pm!).
