Company Matching $2,237.94
In August 2024, we expected to recieve $30,000 in family donations (30 cheerleaders x $1,000). As of December 2, we have recieved a total of $32,237.94 through family donations+company matching. Therefore we brought in an extra $2,237.94 thanks to company matching!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In Conclusion:
$26,313.02 / 30 cheerleaders = $877.10 funds raised per cheerleader
However, we originally budgeted a 3 night stay for each cheerleader. With the indepedent study rules, we are staying an extra night in Dallas which costs an additional $400 per cheerleader for hotel expenses.
The total amount needed for the final donation is $1,000 - $877.10 + $400 = $522.90. Please round up to $550 to cover team gifts that will be handed out at Nationals!

1 Driver and 4 Volunteers for distribution
Time Commitment: 7:30AM-10:00AM
_____________________________________________
The list of pre-sales shows what the students ordered and which teacher they will be sitting with at graduation. I recommend printing the list and cutting it into strips according to the teacher. The leis will arrive in trays. You can use those trays to fill each teacher's orders, tape the paper slip onto it and hand it to the teacher to divvy out to their students.
A driver is needed to pick up the lei order from Mt Eden Floral Company. They should be there upon store opening which is 7:30AM and then deliver the leis to Leigh High School where the graduation ceremony is being held. Bring the flowers down to the field to sort. Volunteers distributing should meet around 7:45AM by the Leigh football field gate.
Since leis are sold by a set quantity, there will be about 30 left over. After you distribute the leis, you will set up a table at the main gate to sell the remainder. Parents can pay through the square app. It's recommended there is a designated volunteer "runner" who can bring the last minute purchases to the graduates that are staged in the Leigh gym. That way, multiple parents are not trying to find their students last minute in the gym.
