What Do We Do
At Unicorn Design Academy, we educate, mentor, and empower aspiring creatives through hands on, multidisciplinary programs. We provide practical training, industry collaboration and research driven learning that prepares students for real world challenges.
We also develop hybrid platform for mentorship, booth-camps and career development bridging the gap between education and employ-ability while sustainable and inclusive design.

Flexible Scheduled Classes (Hybrid)
UDA delivers academic instruction through a hybrid learning system that blends in person and online learning, offering flexibility to accommodate diverse learners whether full time students, working professionals or remote participants. Pre-recorded lectures, reading materials and digital assignments, live online classes via platforms like zoom, Google meet or UDA proprietary platform for real time interaction, group work are adopted. Physical classes for studio works, practical and intensive project feedbacks held on campus allows adaption of students to choose from morning, afternoon, evening or weekend class options.
These ensure inclusivity and access to learners for various demographic group, support learners autonomy and personalized pacing, enhance digital fluency and online collaboration skills.
Studio Immersion
This is centered toward project based, practical led learning where students work on design brief, community problems or industry challenges in studio settings. At the studio, students gets access to design tools like drawing equipment, software, fabrication materials, 3D printers, laser cutters and completes weekly or semester long studio brief, starting with ideation progressing to prototyping and final presentation. Regular design critiques by fellows, instructors, facilitators, peers and juries are done.
This deepens technical skill through hands on learning, builds confidence, design literacy and peer learning and mirrors real world design agency workflows.
Booth Camps
Through thematic short term immersive experience, intensive skills acquisition, creative problem solving and emerging tools or methodologies are held. This is done at selected time during weekly academic activities, weekends, mid semester which are facilitated by visiting experts, industry leaders and UDA facilitators.
It encourages fast paced creativity and practical skill acquisition fostering entrepreneurship thinking, team collaboration and certificate for career portfolio.
Workshops
This provides hand on learning on specific tools, processes or soft skills and highly practical often interdisciplinary and community led which are run by UDA instructors, alumni, artisans and visiting facilitators.
It offers up to date knowledge in a compressed format and reinforces practical relevance of classroom theory.
Mentorship
Every recognized students of UDA is paired with mentors who serves as career guides, creative critics and personal development advisors throughout the program. These mentorship could be in form of:
Academic mentors guiding academic performance, research projects and personal learning strategies.
Industry mentors in related professional field offering practical insights and projects reviews.
Peer mentors between students, trained seniors students supports new learners and promotes community building.
All these in form of mentor-mentee sessions are hybrid which helps student growth in towards their desired career path.
Industry Immersion
This is the vital pillar that bridges the gap between academic and real world application. It’s an exposure for impactful learning. Students undergo semester based industry projects in collaboration with the industry brief which can be done individually or collectively. Through field work, visits, internships and practicum modules, it opens opportunity for career development, professional networking and portfolio growth.
