Romeo Santos, Daddy Yankee ft.Nicky Jam
The beginning of the video started with the trio chatting to each other for guys’ night out in the club but rather than them talking. They were women walking by the poolside or sitting wearing bikinis. After they had a chat they went to dress up for the upcoming night. But, throughout the video, they stumble across this one girl that standout the most out of everyone girl in the club. During each scene of the video, it shows sexual contact of a lower-body penetrating each other. After each singer was flirting with that specific girl to see which one she would pick and they realize they were just at the club with no stripe attached to it. But, at the end of the scene, the girl’s friend arrives in a car to retire the night. But saying bye to one of the three singers.
There is always a presence of strong, beautiful women as being the main babe of the music video. Of Course “Sexuality” kick-ins only to the young and beautiful. If you’re not young and perfect looking, you have “no sexuality”(Killing Us Softly 4). So, in figure one you see the three singers staring her down like “a juicy marbled ribeye with its flesh oozing out of control!” They are staring her down because she is lean but with curves all around not having any down grades in her body. So, they try to promote more sexual attention like dominance ,sex, sexuality,. and demoralize their self-esteem.
Figure 1
Figure 2
This fine-ass woman is wearing see-through lingerie (Figure 2) attracts toxic insecurities throughout the women pride of their figures. But, sadly not surprising that it is reassuring "to believe that we can avoid it by being good girls, avoiding, dark places, staying out of bars"(Kilbourne pg.496). But here does she that really happen appeal let dominant or toxic. But in Killing Us Softly 4 mentions "toxic cultural environment".
Figure 3
The music video shows what a goddess of Latina women would look like in a typical Latino music video, rather than showing the honest truth. They embrace the embarrassment of representation of women’s shapes or sizes and their natural characteristics. The music video included women that have curves but rather on the thinner side to manage beauty figures. Well Killing Us Softly 4 mentions how advertisers want us to believe that we’re not influenced, because rather than manipulate us by showing that our guard is down, they can get beneath the radar. Directly speaking the music video orderly unblemished or goddess creature must wear skin revealing clothing like bikini or skin-tight clothing showing their sexy figure definitely not having wrinkles, mark defects, no loose skin or flaps. It strikes a major blow to other girls to feel more insecure of themselves than they were before.
