The Underground Workshop seeks to…

…sustain an inclusive, collaborative community of student journalists from across Vermont;

…serve as an open resource to aspiring student journalists, lowering barriers to publication;

…leverage our collaborative network, by reporting on issues that matter to young Vermonters; 

…represent a diverse range of  students, communities, and perspectives;

…and hold ourselves accountable to a high standard of journalistic excellence:

all in an effort to empower young voices in the public sphere.
