Hello soccer fanatics, this week of soccer has been a great one. The key game only being Atletico Madrid vs Barcelona in La Liga, which resulted in a draw that practically felt like a more Atletico Madrid’s win, really. The powerful force of Barcelona is somehow still holding on to these types of games, sadly for Atletico Madrid, their history of 16 games of not being able to beat Barcelona will continue. Moving forward, La Liga officially has a new leader, Sevilla, a surprise card in the mix after Atletico Madrid and Barcelona draw. In the premier league, the previous dominant forces, Manchester City, are now showing what they’re made of with their 4-0 win against Chicharito’s West Ham. Of course, Cristiano Ronaldo’s fantastic run in Juventus continues as the powerful force beat S.P.A.L 2-0 raising Ronaldo’s scoring profile to 10 goals including 5 assists in 16 games (all competitions), breaking Juventus history as the fastest to achieve 10 goals in 16 appearances. Now aside from European soccer a very important final stirs up to be “the Best Final In Cup’s history” Boca Juniors (Argentina) vs River Plate (Argentina) were going to face head to head on saturday November 23 to determine their ticket to the Club World Cup. Sadly, however River Plate´s crazy fanatics thought otherwise, as Boca Juniors´ bus was transporting them to the stadium, thousands of fans rioted while throwing bottles, rocks, and peppermint gas causing Boca Juniors players injuries.
This has now officially suspended the game until further notice, or when the FIFA President decides with his associates when it is appropriate to have the game. Only time can tell, and hopefully this extremely eventful final will happen soon!

After a very eventful week of the beautiful game of Soccer, this weekend, Europe’s top five leagues ranging from the Premier league (England), La Liga (Spain), League One (France), Serie A (Italy), and Bundesliga (Germany) were all full of suspenseful matches. England’s league, Premier League, is argued to be the most competitive especially after Manchester City’s strong run during the 17/18 season, the Premier League shows more potential for this season, 18/19, with there being a two point difference between the defending champions, Manchester City, and the runner ups of the 17/18 Champions League, Liverpool. Next we have a very rare La Liga that is unheard of, the two beasts of the league, Real Madrid and Barcelona, are not doing as great as they usually do. Both teams suffered a great deal, but mostly Real Madrid with losing one of the best players on their team, Cristiano Ronaldo, along their three champions league winning manager, Zinedine Zidane. La Liga finds itself with a tighter and more competitive league than ever, the powerful Barcelona are in first, but only one point ahead of Sevilla due to their disastrous loss against Real Betis. As for League one, there isn’t much to say with PSG being bored on top of the league with a 13 point difference, probably the less entertaining league. Speaking about conquering a league, Juventus, in Serie A are doing great and better than ever due to gaining the great Cristiano Ronaldo, after this weekend they gained more points and continue to depart from the second place points with a 6 point difference. Last but certainly not least, Bundesliga, with a surprising Dortmund in first place while the previous monstrous Bayern Munich is in fifth place. It is exciting to see that there is more competition instead of the league being overrun by one team. The 2018/2019 season brings more to the table and I hope everyone is just as excited as I am to see the outcome
