Ok, it has been a long time since we have done our player of the week section of our website. But under new management in President of Operations Declan Smith UTL is proud to bring back our player of the week.
The NHL has had a lot of great hockey during the month of November that we have not been covering.
Patrick Laine of the Winnipeg Jets is the Player of the week for week 7. Leading the NHL in goals with 19, Laine is on fire.
Laine has 11 goals and 1 assist in his last 5 games. With 5 goals coming on 5 shots yesterday against Saint Louis. Laine, the shooting Jet, has always been a sharp shooter he has the best shooting percentage of his career so far this season, at 21.1% of his shots going in the back of the net. Laine is a big reason the Winnipeg Jets are in the hunt for a playoff spot, time will tell if Laine and the Jets can make it back to the playoffs with a deep run.
