Correspondent Declan SmithSeven is a big number for the Chicago Blackhawks. 7 players (Toews Kane Hossa Seabrook Keith Hjalmarson Sharp) made up the core group of Blackhawks that won 3 Stanley Cups. 7 is how many Stanley Cups the Blackhawks will have if they win another one. 7 is how many games the last Blackhawks Redwings playoff series went to. Lastly 7 is how many games the Blackhawks have lost in a row.
6 Blackhawks make up the starting lineup however when you include the coach that is 7 Hawks in the starting lineup. Let’s take a look at the 7 Hawks that need to step up if the Hawks are going to win another game this year.
Toews - Jonathan Toews had a great start to the season. We need to see that again from him.
Kane - Patrick Kane is the Chief Blackhawk. He does everything for the team. Since bringing in Coach Colliton he has been playing a lot more than he should be. Kane needs to help bring out new development by not having him play 40 minutes a night (that is an exaggeration)
Saad - Brandon Saad needs to make GM Stan Bowman look good by being worth Artemi Panarin. I would love to see 72 in a hawks uniform right now instead of 20.
Keith - The aging Keith needs to play as dominant a game as he did in 2015. I think he has it in him
Seabrook - Brent Seabrook should reimburse the Chicago Blackhawks for the 6 million dollar contract he signed a few years back. Thanks Stan.
Crawford - Crow is needs to keep the O in the other teams goal sheet. He has been playing lights out since being gone with an injury.
Coach Colliton - Coach C needs to prove why he was brought in and show results.
