The Fighting Irish have put up a very good fight throughout the first 10 games of the season. The Irish are undefeated, after a great win yesterday against Florida State 42 to 13 the Irish are just two games away from finishing undefeated. Next week the Irish play Syracuse in a game sure to be close. Syracuse, ranked 13th, will be facing Ian Book coming off an injury that kept him out yesterday against Florida State. In his appearance Brandon Wimbush had a very good week. Wimbush threw for 3 touchdowns and 130 yards.

Notre Dame should find themselves in the top four to make the playoffs. Obviously USC will be a tough matchup the last week of the season, but Notre Dame has the talent to get through these next two weeks with two W’s. Then once the playoff games start it is anyone’s game, except most likely Alabamas.
