The Chicago Bears finally have a franchise caliber player again. After a disappointing Packers come back in week one of the season the Bears took things on track in Week 2. Khalil Mack and the attacking defense managed to hold Seattle to just 3 points in the first 3 quarters. Mitch Trubisky is the beacon of the offense, and Khalil Mack is the beacon of the defense. Coach Nagy is promising that Trubisky will improve over time, and all we can do is hope that is true after their first win.
Trubisky was nothing special in game one of the season, missing out on his key chances at the end of the game to bring the game back. That is not to say it was Trubisky’s fault that the Bears lost, however Mitch needs to be a bigger difference maker if the Bears are going to be successful this year.
On the defensive side of things Khalil Mack was on the field for four of the six sacks by the Bears. Mack has lived up to all the hype, the Bears defense needs to continue to dominate this season.
Mitch Trubisky was believed to be the chosen won to bring the super bowl to Chicago, but defense wins championships. Could Mack be the savior of the Bears after all?
