The purpose of Women in Public Policy is to provide a supportive, fun, engaging, and inclusive environment that addresses the specific needs of women and gender non-conforming students with an interest in public policy-related careers. Students of all majors are welcome. This organization aims to provide its members with networking opportunities, workshops, events, and activities that engage their curiosity and connect them with career opportunities.
Women in Public Policy has a variety of events each month throughout the semester to maintain a vibrant community of students interested in various areas of policy. From environment to international affairs or health policy, we have students interested in each area and events, speakers, and more to support them!

These will be our group meetings where we will focus on developing our policy community! It will be a chance to get together and talk about upcoming events, announcements, and do policy presentations. Additionally, most GBMs will be dedicated to working wiht your policy group on your semester-long project!
These will be our community building sessions where we engage in different, fun activities for the WIPP community to get to know each other better! Previous socials have included pot painting, movie nights, documentary nights, trivia, and more!
These meetings are dedicated to buidling your professinal understanding and network as a Public Policy student. Our workshops wil involve resume building, interview work, information on career paths, panels with professionals, and everything else you need to pursue policy outside of the classroom!
Our last meeting every month will be for our speaker series. These will be learning meetings for WIPP members to gather and hear from an experienced professional in a specific area of policy. The sessions always involve a Q&A and enable our community to meet different and accomplished professionals in the Public Policy world.
