As part of the Lower Cape Fear River Blueprint in collaboration with the North Carolina Coastal Federation, CES Lab has analyzed shoreline change and sea-level rise within the Cape Fear River. Specifically, CES Lab characterized shoreline erosion for the lower Cape Fear River and identify hotspots of erosion, and modeled inundation of lower Cape Fear River based on local sea-level rise projections and identify areas of greatest risk.
