These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Unchained mobile application (“Unchained”, “App”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Unchained helps you reduce distractions using iOS Screen Time / FamilyControls features. Your results depend on your choices and device settings.
You must be legally able to form a contract where you live. If you are using the App on a device you do not own, you must have permission from the device owner.
To block apps and websites, Unchained requires Screen Time permissions. You control these permissions and can revoke them at any time in iOS Settings. If permissions are denied or revoked, features may not function.
Unchained may use Apple iCloud/CloudKit to sync certain app data across your devices. Apple manages iCloud authentication and security. Unchained does not run its own servers for this sync.
If Unchained offers paid features (for example, “Unchained Pro”):
Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Apple’s terms and policies govern billing, refunds, and account management.
You agree not to:
Use the App for unlawful purposes
Attempt to bypass or interfere with the App’s protections or security
Reverse engineer or modify the App except where permitted by law
Abuse the App in a way that disrupts other users or Apple services
We may update the App and these Terms over time. Continued use after updates means you accept the updated Terms.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unchained is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the App.
You may stop using Unchained at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the App if required to comply with law or Apple policies, or if misuse is detected.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where you reside, unless local law requires otherwise.
