What is ASDA?

ASDA stands for the American Student Dental Association. It is the largest association dedicated to dental and pre-dental students. There are over 24,000 dental students and 2,200+ pre-dental students. There is a chapter at every dental school!

We are UNC ASDA's Pre-Dental Chapter. ASDA meetings will be once a month in either the UNC Adams School of Dentistry or over zoom! National Membership benefits include DAT resources, interview tips, polished predental newsletter, shadowing guide, and personal statement guidance. You will also receive a copy of the "Getting into dental school" ASDA book since it includes listings of all U.S. dental schools and the statistics for admission requirements. Member benefits from the UNC Chapter include MOM Clinics, Wake Smiles, Panels with current dental students, manual dexterity workshops, dental supply drives, and much more!

2. Pay your dues through the ASDA website linked here. Dues will cover from January 1st to December 31st and you must pay dues to be a member! 

3. Please fill out the Google Form in order to confirm your membership. The link for this can be found here.

Dues Update!

For those that paid their membership dues last school year, your membership has expired. You must renew your membership by February 1st in order to be a member this upcoming year. As mentioned above, your new membership will cover Jan. 1 2024 to Dec. 31 2024. Follow the directions above to renew your dues. Reach out to an officer if you have any questions, we know this can be confusing!
