Innoworks Summer Camp (Aug 2018 + Aug 2019) - We previously worked with a national organization, Innoworks. In 2020, we made the decision to become independent and formed U-MYScI. We are hoping to bring back our summer camps in August 2023. Click here to learn more about our summer camps!

August Activities (Aug 2020) - We virtually brought camp to our students to keep them engaged in a variety of fun experiments they could easily do at home. We provided the students with supplies and made youtube videos to guide them through the experiments and to explain the science. Lastly, we hosted a weekly zoom to answer any questions they had! MYScience Future (Mar -May 2021) - We established a mentorship program with Ms. Austin's 8th grade class at Levey Middle School in Southfield, Michigan. We paired the middle schoolers with graduate student mentors and met weekly for three months to engage them in different activities. Each month was focused on a new theme exploring science and careers in basic research, health and medicine, and science communication. We had break out rooms where the students could interact with their mentors and ask questions about science, careers, or to just chat. We brought in career speakers, had lectures, and provided hands on activities we could guide them through.

Saturday Science Symposium - Our team is hard at work in putting together our Science Symposiums for Winter 2022. We will be offering a day camp to engage middle school students in different STEAM activities and experiments. Transportation, food, and supplies will be provided.
