On October 20th, 2022, our Mentor Education/HR Compliance Director, Mo Hicks, led a workshop on trauma-informed care and cultural competency for all of our medical student mentors. The workshop aimed to help our mentors develop the necessary skills to adequately support our youth mentees.

On May 3-4, 2022, a few of our board members presented at the Best Practices in Health Science Education Conference held at the University of Minnesota. Their poster foused on The MD Link's goals and future impact in the community and on the education of medical students.  A video recording of the presentation can be found here.
