Volunteer selection
Volunteers are proposed by members already linked to our organisation ‘Mothers of Goodness’, and are personally known to them.
We vet our volunteers overseas by selecting people who have the same vision as us, enthusiasm and passion for serving humanity on a voluntary basis. They are people who are in employment and are carrying out the tasks voluntarily.
We also have the bank details of our office bearers that we send the money to. We keep copies of receipts detailing the transactions sent and they verify to us that they have received this amount.
Financial risks are managed by only sending relatively small amounts of money at a time; this protects both our volunteers and our charity.
We never send our volunteers to new locations alone, we always recommend they go with someone to protect them.
