New to filmmaking? No problem! Veritas Short Films hosts a variety of workshops each semester to introduce new members and refresh technical skills. Workshop subjects include acting, screenwriting, equipment training (camera, lighting, sound), and more.

Veritas Short Films is dedicated to maintaining a welcoming space for all those who appreciate film and have an interest in filmmaking. We host multiple events throughout the semester, including guest speaker talks from industry professionals and screenings of our club-produced projects.

Students are able to connect through socials throughout the year, such as movie nights, 'cinema runs' – where members take a field trip to the movie theater together, game nights, and more.
