The purpose of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) is to give college students the opportunity to further explore their interests in the fields of audiology, speech-language pathology, and speech, language, and hearing sciences.
NSSLHA has meetings and events that provide students with different opportunities that educate them beyond the classroom setting. Attending meetings is a great way to meet other hearing and speech sciences (HESP) majors, while also getting educated on how to become apart of the professional community.
You can join NSSLHA simply by attending our meetings and events. You are welcome and encouraged to attend as many of our meetings and events as possible. To become a Key Member of NSSLHA you must attend a specific amount of meetings and events per semester. Some examples of events include: volunteering or baking for our bake sales, attending NSSLHA field trips, and helping out during our community service events.
