This platform was created to support ELT (English Language Teaching) professionals in effectively integrating Virtual Reality (VR) technologies into their language classrooms. Whether you're just starting out or looking to enhance your teaching toolkit with immersive tools, you'll find practical resources, guides, and inspiration here.
Let me introduce myself. I am a senior lecturer and PhD candidate at the Faculty of Education and Humanities, Suleyman Demirel University (SDU), Kazakhstan. I began my journey at SDU in 2018 as an assistant lecturer, building on a strong foundation of teaching experience. My career in education started even earlier—working with both young learners and adults at the Centre of English Studies for You.
In 2021, I was admitted to the PhD program at SDU, where my research focuses on the innovative use of Virtual Reality in language education. This work reflects my passion for integrating cutting-edge technology into teaching to enhance learner engagement and outcomes.
Alongside my academic pursuits, I am also a proud mother of four. Balancing a dynamic professional life with family responsibilities has taught me resilience, time management, and the value of lifelong learning—qualities I bring to both my research and teaching practice.
Thank you for visiting, and I hope this space becomes a valuable resource on your own VR teaching journey!
