It incorporates pictures and stories from showgoers to document their experiences at these shows, so if you have something you'd like to share, send me an email (ultraqmap@gmail.com) or fill out this Google Form!
The web map uses a cartographic technique called Donut Clustering, wherein each color in the cluster's ring represents the year the show took place. Zoom in, and the clusters expand into individual markers!
These individual markers provide information about the show(s) that happened at specific venues. If there are fan photos and/or stories that have been submitted for a show, you'll be able to click the "View Photos" and/or "View Stories" buttons to see them!
Ultra Q Map also has a Heat Map layer, which visualizes the density of Ultra Q shows across North America and Europe, updating based on which years are selected.
I'm always looking to add more features to the map, so follow along on the @ultraqmap Instagram for updates. Also, if you've been to an Ultra Q show in the past, consider submitting your own photos and stories to be added to the map!
