We have good leaders in our community, but need to encourage them. We (Nangarhar Alumni) came up with a beneficial workshop for those who want to be a leader in the future. The leadership workshop was attended by fifty student participants for three days. The goal of the leadership training was to give students information about leadership and motivate them for being a good and effective leader in the future. We divided these students into five groups (Parrots, Elephants, Horses, Tiger and Rabbits) like we had in our LEAP camp. Every group had leader with nine followers.
In the first day of the workshop we had group work, and they discussed "What is Leadership?" Every group wrote their ideas about it, and after that every group was supposed to explain their ideas to the other groups. Almost they discussed about it two hours, after that we explained it. In second day again we had group works about "What are the qualities of a good leader?" Every group had amazing ideas about the quality and have discussed with other groups too.
In the last day of workshop we had a small test, to examine them what they learnt in these three days workshop. They did well in test of leadership, and we had a participation certificate for them to persuade them more. The best was thing was that all students promised us that they will participate in voluntarily activities.
