AutoCAD makes the design process more efficient because it allows you to copy and paste objects, create layers, save drafts, and share documents with other members of your team. AutoCAD is widely used in the engineering field. Mechanical engineers, civil engineers, electrical engineers, and industrial engineers all use AutoCAD in their work. It’s also used by architects, interior designers, graphic designers, and even artists.
AutoCAD is a very powerful 2D and 3D design / drafting software and is preferred in varieties of industries like mechanical, civil, architectural, electrical and practically in all design areas.
This is simple to learn and everyone technical or nontechnical should learn this subject.
During campus or off campus interviews, you will have more probability if you know AutoCAD well.
If you are interested in technical jobs, you must have a good exposure in AutoCAD and preferably other similar software because during interview, you have to practically prove yourself by their assignment in front of the interviewer.
You will face less competition in job market
During actual job, you will be preferred over others if you know software like AutoCAD
