May 20 - 21, 2023 at the University of Kentucky

Conference Description

The Spectra Survey of Mathematics Conference (SSMC) 2023 will be held at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY on May 20 - 21, 2023. The conference aims to provide an opportunity for networking among young mathematicians from the LGBTQ+ community and its allies. The conference is open to all areas of mathematics with the hopes of creating an interdisciplinary environment that will strengthen the ties of the mathematical society as a whole and increase partnership between applied and theoretical mathematicians.

The conference will host three keynote speakers: Dr. Seth Sullivant (North Carolina State University), Dr. Mary Lynn Reed (Rochester Institute of Technology) and Dr. Alexander Hoover (Cleveland State University). Furthermore, participants will be given the opportunity to give a 20 minute talk about their recent research accomplishment. If you are interested in giving a talk, please refer to the registration form below.
