The UK Redox Flow Battery Network will be holding it's 5th Annual Meeting online on the 1st and 2nd of July 2021 as part of a 2-day symposium in collaboration with the Iontronics Network in the Netherlands. It will run from 10 - 15:30 CET (9 - 14:30 BST)
Registration is free but you must register on the Iontronics webpage to attend the virtual meeting: https://nl.iontronics.net/2021/05/second-iontronicsnl-symposium-on-1st.html
If you are interested in sharing your research with the UK Flow Battery community, please send us a title and short abstract (no more than 1 pg) by June 20th. This is submitted when registering for the event via the link above.
Registered attendees will receive a Teams link to the symposium ahead of the event.
Day 1: Iontronics Symposium of invited talks on all aspects of redox flow batteries
Marnix Wagemaker (Technical University Delft)
Maria Perez-Page (University of Manchester)
Jouke Dykstra (Wageningen University & Research)
Kathryn Toghill (University of Lancaster)
Maarten Voors (Wageningen University & Research)
Rathod Suman (IISC Bangalore)
Day 2: UK RFB Network research presentations from selected abstracts
Abstracts welcome from students, postdoctoral researchers, established academics and industry.
Deadline for abstracts is 20th June 2021
Here we discuss everything from novel ideas and emerging technology to the evaluation of established systems and long term issues. Electrode architecture, new electrolytes, catalysis of processes, mitigating side reactions, membranes, membrane free designs, lowering costs, improved efficiency, and so on. We will try to accommodate as many talks as possible, and these are not restricted to UK speakers.
If you have any questions concerning the two-day symposium and meeting then please contact us on our email address UKRFBN@gmail.com. We will keep you informed as soon as we have a programme. We look forward to receiving your abstracts.
