UKANDU Chicago

For over fifteen years, UKANDU has been building relationships with inner-city Chicago ministries through Chicagoland Lutheran Educational Foundation [CLEF], United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Chicago [UCP], and multiple individual ministries. The partnership with these organizations, churches, and schools has opened up doors for more ministry possibilities and given us new connections each year. Our faith family continues to grow in Chicago and we truly feel called to keep our efforts focused where relationships are being built!

WHY UKANDU CHICAGO?

Our overall desire and purpose is:

• Encourage our brothers and sisters in the ministry
• Connect members of the communities in which we serve to a local ministry
• Involve our own congregations
• Grow spiritually

Participants can expect to serve alongside 200 other people from a variety of churches to bring the love of Jesus to the people of inner city Chicago. While on the trip, participants will participate in powerful worship experiences, eat marvelous food, and share many fun experiences along with the work they do.
