The 2027 UKACM conference will be held at University of Glasgow

Founded in 1451, the University of Glasgow is one of the oldest universities in the English-speaking world and a proud member of the Russell Group, a prestigious network of leading research-intensive universities in the UK. As one of Scotland’s four ancient universities, Glasgow has a long-standing tradition of academic excellence and innovation, counting influential figures such as W. J. M. Travel information

The Unversity is located on the Gilmorehill Campus in the West End of Glasgow, it is well-connected, and easily accessible by public transport, road, and subway.

Road  

The University is close to Byres Road, Great Western Road, and Kelvin Way. Please note that parking on the main University campuses is limited and generally reserved for permit holders. Visitors travelling by car are encouraged to use nearby pay-and-display parking or the Subway Park & Ride facilities at Bridge Street, Kelvinbridge, or Shields Road. Parking near the Gilmorehill Campus can be difficult, so public transport is recommended where possible.

Subway

The Glasgow Subway is one of the easiest ways to reach the University from the city centre. Hillhead Subway Station is the closest station to the James McCune Smith Learning Hub, approximately a 5-minute walk away. Kelvinhall and Kelvinbridge stations are also nearby, each around a 10-minute walk from campus. Subway services run frequently, with trains around every four minutes at peak times.
