(Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research), Prof. Saikat Sinha Roy (Jadavpur University), Prof. Subrata Sarkar (Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research), Prof. Saibal Kar (Centre for Studies in Social Sciences, Calcutta) and Dr. Gogol Mitra Thakur (Centre for Development Studies (JNU)), was truly inspiring.
Successfully completed the 5-day workshop on Open Macroeconomics hosted by the RBI Chair, Prof. VENKATACHALAM L, at the Madras Institute of Development Studies, Chennai.
Distinguished Economists, including the former Executive Director of the RBI and current Professor at Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode Prof. Mridul Saggar, Prof. Rudrasen Sarma, Prof. Rajat Acharyya (Jadavpur University), Prof. Saibal Kar (Centre for Studies in Social Sciences, Calcutta), Prof. M. Ramachandran (Pondicherry University)and Dr. Krittika Banerjee (Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur), among others, elucidated complex topics such as Monetary Policy Transmission, Twin Deficit Problem, Ricardian Equivalence, and the Impossible Trinity, stimulating insightful discussions.
Successfully completed the 5-day workshop the 5-day GIAN Workshop on AI and Economics held at the esteemed Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, under the expert guidance of Prof. Badri Narayanan Gopalakrishnan, PhD, and Dr. K P Prabheesh.
The workshop delved into the intricacies of the Computable General Equilibrium Model through the Global Trade Analysis Project (GTAP), offering invaluable insights into General Equilibrium Models. This experience has equipped me with essential knowledge, opening avenues for enhanced research on the impact of AI-driven productivity shocks across various sectors of the economy.
