Pruitt Research Day Call for Abstracts

The abstract submission deadline for both graduate and undergraduate students is Monday, October 15th, which is less than a week away! Submit your abstract using the Pruitt Research Day Submission page. For more information about the event, see the description below or visit the 7th Annual Pruitt Research Day website.

Mark your calendars for the 5th Annual Pruitt Research Day, hosted by the J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME), to be held on Friday, November 18th, 2016! Pruitt Research Day will celebrate the research being conducted in the BME department and the larger BME community at UF. We hold our celebration near the birth date of Dr. J. Crayton Pruitt Sr., whose vision and generosity helped found the BME department, because Dr. Pruitt was always most excited about hearing and discussing our students’ achievements and research.

BMES Annual Meeting Carpool & Roommate Form

If you are in search of a carpool traveling to/from the conference and/or roommates--whether or not you currently have lodging plans, please fill out our Annual Meeting Carpool & Lodging form ASAP. The conference is rapidly approaching, and we want to connect you with other members attending our annual meeting.

BMES Annual Meeting

Preregistration has closed, but you can still register directly at the conference. Benefits of attending include networking for graduate school or industry, learning about interesting research in every discipline of BME, and exclusive tours of Emory & GA Tech BME among others! UF BMES members are arranging a carpool and finding roommates for each other (announcement at the top of the page). For more information about the annual meeting, see the image below or click here!
