UF BMES

Welcome to the website for the University of Florida's chapter of the Biomedical Engineering Society! For more information about our society, click here!

IMPORTANT!

In the coming months, BMES will be migrating to the department website where we will house most of our news and events information. This website will be phased out around that time and we will provide the new url to our website soon. We are very excited for this move and hope that it makes discovering all things BME a bit easier!

Semester Events!

Check Calendar and Involvement for more upcoming events.

Events of the Week (Nov. 28th to Dec. 4th)

4th GBM (Dec. 2nd)

Join us in person (TUR L011) or virtually (https://ufl.zoom.us/j/91218178660 ) at our final GBM of the semester this Thursday, December 2nd at 6 PM! We will discuss events we have planned for the remainder of the semester and then hear from UF BME's Dr. Meghan Ferrall-Fairbanks, who will discuss her tumor heterogeneity research. We encourage you to attend the GBM in person if you are able -- we will have cookies and beverages for all, and one lucky member will win a special prize!

We will also have a Gingerbread Decorating Event on Dec. 6th. Please fill out this form if you are interested in joining us https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfhtQ3s7urR0mGduO8vBTipIYl-sS49knwNYzI3HFwahrpmbw/viewform

Student Spotlight

We are seeking BMES students to highlight!

If you or any of your friends/classmates have some great news, we want to spotlight you. Specifically, we are in search of students with exciting news for the end of the school year, whether that is an upcoming REU or internship, graduate school acceptances/commitments, medical school acceptances, or fulltime positions following graduation. We just want to highlight our members' accomplishments.

If you have a suggestion for the spotlight, please email our webmaster at yiru.mu@ufl.edu.
