EMT-Paramedics are advanced providers of Emergency Medical Services and they build on their EMT education and learn more skills such as administering medications, starting intravenous lines, providing advanced airway management for patients, and learning to resuscitate and support patients with significant problems such as heart attacks and traumas.

EMT-Paramedics are often the lead member of a rescue team, with the most training and the most decision making power. This means that the requirements to be a paramedic include strong leadership skills and the ability to perform complex life-saving functions in extremely stressful crisis situations. An EMT-Paramedic must keep a cool head and maintain authority amongst his or her team members in situations where a mistake can mean the difference between life and death.

A Ward Boy or Hospital Attendant looks after the needs and wants of patients under their care. They maintain patient hygiene by providing bed-pans, baths, bandage redressing and such activities. They are also expected to help with basic jobs like taking patient temperature, giving medicine, serving meals and such activities. Ward boys also have to maintain log books, patient books and report any changes they notice within the patient to the attending doctor.

Technicians are trained to use advanced radiographic equipment such as CT Scan (Computed Tomography), MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) along with basic X-Ray equipment for creating images of a patient's internal anatomy. These images are used by doctors and specialists to aid in diagnosis of illnesses and injuries. The Diploma in Nursing Assistance program is designed to provide quality care to patients admitted in nursing homes and hospitals. Upon successful completion of the Diploma in Nursing Assistance course, students become qualified to take the Udaan Skilling and & Training (NCVET/BSS) exam. After clearing this exam, students become certified Nursing Assistance and thus work in an efficient and knowledgeable manner.
