At UConn KDSAP, we believe that it is never too early to start learning about careers in health care and problems in health care affecting people today and for generations to come.

That is why thanks to the UConn Change Grant awarded to KDSAP members, the UConn chapter virtually promoted careers in health care to get high-school students—especially minorities—interested in health care. The format was an online web series that high school students could engage with.

Topics presented included "Why We Need Representation in Medicine," "Stories from Current Pre-Health Students," "Steps to the Pre-Health College Career," and "Funding Your College Education." Some were pre-recorded, while others had recorded live viewing and Q&A sessions. View the recordings/slides below!
