"The University of Connecticut's Quantitative Learning Center (Q Center) is a resource to elevate the proficiency of students taking quantitative intensive (Q) courses across the undergraduate curriculum. We provide direct assistance to students via peer tutoring, review sessions, and the creation of innovative learning tools."
There are two tutoring services in Homer Babbidge Library:
The Quantitative Learning Center (Q Center)
and
The Writing Center (W Center)
"The Writing Center is a welcoming space where students and tutors collaborate on writing projects. We believe all students are writers, and we invite them to bring in any type of writing—academic, civic, personal, and multimedia texts—at any stage in the composing process. Student-writers should arrive ready to engage with their own work while peer tutors ask questions, listen actively, respond to individual needs, and foster strategic revision. Our practices prioritize long-term growth and aim to expand each writer’s capacity to make intentional and reflective choices."

Not only will the Ask a Librarian Service be available for this semester, but the hours have been extended to answer as many student questions and address as many concerns as possible. Outside of chat hours, an email option is available, and they will respond as soon as possible. This service is available in all newly created HuskyCT courses.
