The Built Environment and Active Populations (BEAP) Laboratory is led by Dr. Daniel Fuller and conducts research that helps design urban and rural environments to equitably increase physical activity for the entire population. They are a part of the School of Human Kinetics and Recreation at Memorial University.
Led by Dr. Carlo Menon, research at The Biomedical and Mobile Health Technology Lab focuses primarily on wearable technology. This includes novel materials and sensors for electronic textiles (e-textiles) or other wearables, as well as innovative computational methods for processing bio-signals and monitoring biomarkers detected by our sensing technology.
