National Workshop on Role of National Education Policy 2020 in Swarna Andhra and Viksit Bharat@2047

The objective of the workshop is to provide a collaborative platform for educators, policymakers,
researchers, and students to explore the transformative potential of the National Education Policy (NEP)
2020 in achieving the vision of Swarna Andhra and Viksit Bharat 2047. It aims to foster a deeper
understanding of the core principles and reforms proposed under NEP 2020, including multidisciplinary
education, skill development, research integration, and holistic learning.

This workshop focused on strategies for effective implementation at institutional and state levels
highlighting the role of National Education Policy 2020 in higher education institutions in nurturing
innovation, entrepreneurship, and inclusive growth. Also encouraged a dialogue between
academia, industry and government to identify challenges and opportunities in aligning NEP 2020 with
regional development goals and national priorities. Thereby contributing to the objectives of
Viksit Bharat, viz., the creation of a self-reliant, knowledge-driven, and globally competitive India by 2047.
