Pinewood Derby

The Pinewood Derby is where scouts get a block of wood and some tools and you carve a car and put wheels on it and race it against other cars. If you lose a certain amount of times you get disqualified. The last three standing have races until only one of them is left. The person in the top three who gets disqualified first gets third place. The person who is in the top three who gets disqualified second gets second place. The last person standing gets first place.

The rules are:

• Wait your turn in line

• Three cars at a time on the track

• The weight of your car may be no heavier that 5 ounces

• Write your name on the bottom of your car

• You may put weights on your car as long as your car's weight is equivalent or less than the max weight
