The CAPM® Certification is an entry-level certification for associates who want to become a certified associate in project management. This globally recognized certification provided by the Project Management Institute (PMI) covers all the fundamental knowledge, processes, terminology associated with effective project management. With the CAPM®, you’ll be on the fast track to opportunity.
The course will review the career benefits of CAPM®. The sessions will methodically work through the Project Management Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), covering every aspect of Projects from Initiation through Planning, Execution, Controlling to Closure.
This course provides the 23 hours contact hours of project management education required for you to sit for the CAPM® exam. Successful completion of CAPM® Certification ensures that you possess the necessary skills and knowledge about the principles of project management, and this certification enables you to handle the primary challenges of project management.

Learners complete a certified credential. This program is offered by University of Cincinnati Professional and Continuing Education. The Certificate is designed for professionals who have had some experience in computing, manufacturing, or project management.
INTENDED FOR
This course is intended for Community members who have been laid off or furloughed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A community member is a Non-matriculated learner in our community. These programs are open to everyone, regardless if you are a student at UC or not.
