COVID-19 Recovery
Training Program

Have you been laid off or furloughed because of the COVID-19 pandemic? UC is offering a free bootcamp training to learn entry-level skills for a career in technology.

What is it?

In response to the global pandemic and the thousands of workers who were laid off or furloughed in our region, the University of Cincinnati is launching a new initiative designed to provide members of our community a pathway to a career in technology. Through UC's Department of Labor NEXT Apprenticeship grant, we will provide learners one of three ways to prepare for a career in technology; technology fundamentals and career preparation, IT support professional certificate, or a certification in project management.

Getting Started

Follow these steps to get started:

  1. Fill out the COVID-19 Recovery Program Application

  2. Upon acceptance into the program, complete a brief pre-assessment. This assessment is designed to help determine which career preparation pathway is best for each learner.

  3. Attend a virtual orientation program to introduce you to the learning platform.
