Logs and other things from KFØRGC - Minneapolis, Minnesota
Hello, I am Justin. KF0RGC. I have been DXing the entire radio spectrum since the late 1980s. It began with stumbling upon the forbidden analog cell phone conversations heard on TV channels 82/83 in Oklahoma City, OK, and progressed to AM, SW, FM, and TV. I have a degree in Film Studies from the University of Utah. I worked in radio in small, medium, and large markets. For example, I worked at The Radio Network in Green River, Wyoming, Citadel Broadcasting in Salt Lake City, and was a news director at a four-station cluster in Northeastern Wyoming. I created the I Love AM Radio Facebook group and am active in the WTFDA and other DX groups. I prefer to post my FM loggings on FMLIST, but the WTFDA logger is great too (you must be a member to use it).
I LOVE SPORADIC E-SKIP!
I am also an author of several movie screenplays (one of which is copyrighted).
It's called "Remember The Clouds" and was sent to the Austin Film Festival in 2026.
This page is simply a repository of thoughts, funny, dumb news, and lots of DX-related content. It is also home to several band scans performed around the Midwest and beyond. Any time we go camping, we create a band scan that will appear on this site. Official logs are linked below, along with live auto loggers. An internet radio station, "DXFM 94.1," is linked here as well.

My brother has been trying to get me to get a ham radio license since I was in my early teens. Finally, 30ish years later, I am now a licensed technician class ham radio operator with the call sign KF0RGC. My wife is KF0RFG. I plan on getting a general license some day. I like MW, FM, Shortwave, and checking out the HF bands, even though I don't have a radio capable of doing anything on HF. I do have a VHF/UHF transciever, and I like to listen to the local repeaters in the Twin Cities. I may be on some nets from time to time. I started DXing in 1992 when I was 8, in Casper, Wyoming. I've lived in Casper, Green River, Sheridan, and Laramie, WY, Salt Lake City, UT, St. Cloud, Blaine, and Coon Rapids, MN. I like to geocache whenever I can, and am owned by three cats.
